F-1 Race is the collaborative work of two former competitors in the F1 simulation market. Drawing upon the quality of programming demonstrated in both Ubi Soft's Monaco Grand Prix and Video System USA's F-1 World Grand Prix, F1 Racing Championship strives to be one of the most realistic racing games of its type.

F-1 Sensation is a Formula One Racing game, developed and published by Konami, which was released in Europe in 1993.

F-117a Stealth Fighter is a flight simulator featuring the U.S. Air Force's Stealth Fighter. Although you only fly one aircraft in the game, there are numerous mission options. There are nine different areas of conflict which each vary in difficulty (Persian Gulf, North Cape, Libya, Central Europe, Middle East, Desert Storm, Vietnam, Cuba and Korea.) The current state of conflict (cold, conventional, or limited war) affects the readiness of the enemy. Missions fall into three different types: air-to-air, air-to-ground and training.

F-15 Strike Eagle is an F-15 Strike Eagle combat flight simulator first released in 1985 by MicroProse and is the first in the F-15 Strike Eagle series comprising also of the sequels F-15 Strike Eagle II and F-15 Strike Eagle III. It was published for the Amstrad CPC in 1986 and ZX Spectrum in 1987.

F1 Circus was a PC Engine and Famicom Formula One racing game (not to be confused with F1 Circus MD which was released for the Sega Mega Drive). The game was released in 1991 and the word "circus" was meant to be a mistranslation of the word "circuit" because the pageantry of Formula One racing slightly resembles a circus.

Fantasy Zone is a surreal arcade game released by Sega in 1985. It was later ported to a wide variety of consoles, including the Sega Master System. The player controls a sentient spaceship named Opa-Opa who fights nonsensical invader enemies in the titular group of planets, full of settings atypical of the traditional scrolling shooter and pastel colors; for that reason, it is occasionally dubbed a "cute 'em up".

Faria is an action role playing game developed by Game Arts and Hi-Score, and published by Nexoft in 1990 for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It borrowed heavily from other major RPGs of the time, primarily Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda series, and uses experience points, like most typical RPGs.

Fast and Furious is a skill game in which you race the car to win the game. You are racing the other dude, shouldn't trash your car or you may stop. The first prize is a babe strips and get to take a beautiful woman home. If you are the second, you are losers and couldn't get prizes. You can select the car before the race.

Faxanadu is a platform adventure game for the Nintendo Family Computer (Famicom) and the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). The name was licensed by computer game developer Nihon Falcom ("Falcom") and was developed and released in Japan by Hudson Soft in 1987.

Felix The Cat is a video game released in 1992 for the Nintendo Entertainment System and in 1993 for the Game Boy, published and developed by Hudson Soft. It is based on the cartoon character Felix the Cat.

Ferrari Grand Prix Challenge puts you behind the wheel of a Formula 1 Ferrari. Your goal is to win the International Grand Prix World Championship, a series of races pitting you against 24 cars, eight teams and 16 tracks. Prior to each race a qualifying lap determines your starting position, and during races, occasional pit stops require your tires be changed. The controls are more forgiving than in most F1 games, and the music is genuinely enjoyable.

Fester's Quest is a video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System based on the 1960s television series The Addams Family. It was released in 1989 in North America and 1990 in Europe.

Field Combat was an action game where you fight as a single commanding officer in a generic futuristic battlefield. The object of the game is to make it all the way to the end of the battlefield.

Lee Trevino is playable as a character named Super Mex. Despite the title, no fighting is involved in the game. Other characters are Pretty Amy, Miracle Chosuke and Big Jumbo. Pretty Amy is not as strong, but easier to control. Miracle Chosuke and Super Mex are somewhat in the middle. Big Jumbo has the best range, but the worst control (in this game, "control" refers to the length of the aiming guide).

Final Fantasy is a console role-playing game created by Hironobu Sakaguchi, developed and published in Japan by Square (now Square Enix) in 1987, and published in North America by Nintendo of America in 1990.

Fire 'n Ice is a puzzle game released in limited numbers by Tecmo for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It is the prequel to Solomon's Key, and is known as Solomon's Key 2 in Europe and Solomon no Kagi 2: Coolmintou Kyuushutsu Sakusen (Solomon's Key 2: Coolmint Rescue Mission) in Japan.

Fist of the North Star is a 2D competitive fighting game produced by Sega and developed by Arc System Works, based on the manga series of the same name. It was originally released in 2005 as a coin-operated arcade game for the Atomiswave hardware.

Flappy is a puzzle game by dB-Soft in the same vein as Adventures of Lolo and Sokoban that is little known outside of Japan. It features Flappy, a somewhat mole-like character who must complete each level by pushing a blue stone from its starting place to the blue tile destination.

Flash Pegs is a classic peg game. The object is to end with only peg remaining. Click and drag pegs into empty spots to move around the board. Pegs disappear once they are jumped. There are nine boards to choose from.

Flight of the Intruder is a 1990 flight simulator developed by Rowan Software and published by Spectrum Holobyte for the PC (DOS), Commodore Amiga and Atari ST. It was ported to the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1991 with Imagineer as the developer and Mindscape as the publisher. It was made as a tie in to the movie of the same name.

Flintstones 2, The - The Surprise at Dinosaur Peak! is a game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The game is based on the cartoon, The Flintstones.

Flintstones, The - The Rescue of Dino and Hoppy is a 1991 video game developed by Taito for the Nintendo Entertainment System based on The Flintstones TV series. The gameplay is preceded by a short movie which sets the stage. A man from the 30th century kidnaps Dino and Hoppy, the two pets the Flintstones and the Rubbles.

Flipull is a Puzzle game, developed and published by Taito Corporation, which was released in Japan in 1989.

Flying Dragon: The Secret Scroll is a side-scrolling combat game featuring tournament-style battles similar to a fighting title. Your goal is to recover six missing scrolls from the clutches of an enemy regime. Advance across an evil army's compounds, battling soldiers in hand-to-hand combat, while collecting helpful power-ups from statues.

Flying Hero (J) is a real-time first person aerial combat game. If you're having a hard time picturing that combination, think of a deathmatch mode in Descent and replace the environments with those found in Drakan. The end result is an airborne gladiatorial fight merging technology with classic fantasy themes.

Flying Warriors features combat in a variety of formats, such as kicking and using fireballs to repel monsters in scrolling stages, a system during one-on-one duels against Tusk Soldiers or a pair of martial arts tournaments where the player must attack a mark that appears on their opponent's body, or defend the area when it appears on them (this system is similar to Culture Brain's original Flying Dragon for the NES), and RPG-style command battles against monster bosses.

Formation Z (known as Aeroboto in the U.S.) is a shoot'em up game developed by Jaleco with a twist. The machine that you pilot starts out as a robot. By pressing and holding the jump button down, you will transform from a robot to a jet fighter plane (in a manner similar to the Robotech VF-1 Valkyrie).

Formula One Built to Win is a racing game for the Nintendo Entertainment System that is centered around its career mode. Once the player enters in his or her user name (one letter initial for given name and a family name), the player has to start out driving a Mini Cooper (from the British Motor Corporation) without an international racing license.

Photon: The Ultimate Game on Planet Earth, also known as Hikari no Senshi Foton, is a video game made by Takara for the Famicom, in 1987. In this game, you play as a space guy in a big cavernous maze, trying to find your way to the leader, I guess. There's no real plot.

Four Players Tennis is a Tennis game, developed by Asmik Ace Entertainment, Inc and published by Asmik Corporation of America, which was released in 1990.

Other than strange creatures attacking you, Frankenstein doesn't distinguish itself from other platformers available for the NES. Although featured prominently on the unique box art, Frankenstein only shows up in the introduction, during some cutscenes and at the end. The graphics are nicely detailed and colorful in most places, but some sections look a little rough. Your character's punches and kicks are standard for this type of game, the weapons are mediocre, and several bosses aren't very clever, making them easy to defeat.

Front Line is a military combat-themed arcade game released in 1982 by Taito Corporation. The original arcade version consists of a joystick, a single button (other than the player one and player two start buttons), and a rotary dial that can be pushed in like a button, which fires the gun. The single button is used to throw grenades, and to enter and exit the tank.

Fun House is a NES action video game which is based on the United States version of the TV show Fun House and plays like a child's version of The Running Man. In order to make it to the next level, the player must make it from the starting line to the finish within the time limit, like a top view version of Pole Position with a young child on inline skates rather than driving a Formula One race car in an overhead view. Otherwise, the player loses a life and the player must start the stage over again.

Fuzzical Fighter is a Japanese game released in 1991 by Sigma Enterprises on the Nintendo Entertainment System. It is a side-scrolling shooter but contains many RPG elements.
